Role overview
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and solutions-focused Operations Manager to help us run day-to-day business activities efficiently. You’ll work closely with the founder and key team members to manage workflows, improve processes, and ensure key activities stay on track. This is a great role for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing digital business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across the business (including admin, publishing, content production, and customer service)
- Improve and document internal systems and workflows
- Oversee team schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate freelancers, writers, contractors and agencies
- Track deadlines and project milestones across ongoing initiatives
- Monitor tools and platforms (including Notion, Google Workspace, WordPress, ActiveCampaign, Asana)
- Prepare simple regular reports to support decision-making
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to how we work
Skills and experience
- 3+ years experience in operations, business administration, or project management
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Tech-savvy – quick to learn tools and software
- Experience with online publishing, membership, or subscription businesses (a plus)
- Familiarity with superannuation, finance, or educational content (a bonus, not essential)
